Looting
Is there any possibility to loot enemies who died outside the map?

If they're not too far, you can use Telekinesis. Otherwise, no.

Or you could do it the unnecessarily hard way - Reanimate them. Then lure them back inside the boundary or Charm them and they will saunter back over. Then kill them again and loot their corpse.

If you just pass them in the first place, don't they respawn when you enter back into the mentioned sector? In the past i had also several incidents by playing, where all of the enemies of a sector spawned again and i don't know until today how this could happen entirely.

I've already finished the game. And monsters respawn after a certain amount of time, depending on the map.

If some escape out of range you do not necessarily have to wait for a full re-spawn. If you go back to an area later where say, for example, two heavily damaged floated or walked out of range for what you could reach, and thereby escaped, then later they will be back, in range and at full strength (just the two that previously got away), very soon, like in a day or so. Much later the entire area will be repopulated (all creatures killed are back) but that has its own time table.

If all are not killed there is at least some cases when that interferes with re-population, at least in MM7 and MM8. For example, in MM7, on the initial island if you successfully kill all of the flying bugs before taking a level-up, a whole bunch of flying bugs (not as many as initially but a lot) reappear. However, it you kill almost all but two get away and then you do the level-up, you get only the two that got away. There are other examples and I think it works the same in MM6, but I do not remember for certain.

Since I am trying to max experience and money on the island at that early stage (in the MM7 example), through, practice, I have become pretty good at not letting any of the flying bugs escape. It takes some precision targeting to prioritize wounded ones (unless the wound is slight and they keep coming), not letting the ones you are currently shooting at get too close (creating a survival problem) or too far away and giving everyone bows. Judicious use of the Mage's Fire Bolt as well as giving the bows a fire damage augmentation really helps. Use of Bless (for accuracy) seems to be a must as well. I find it fun, at least for me.

Similar tactical challenges exist throughout the MM6 game, even though I do not remember any quick re-spawns like in MM7 and MM8, especially in some of the huge dungeons... love the MM6 game, even compared to current games.

MM6 is also a complete gaming experience with no DRM or other "Mickey Mouse" security abuse.
