so had a thought for an upgrade: Freya's Apples. essentially it would allow you to keep the "lost" bonus from spent yggdrasill seeds. the upgrade chain in order:

initial: 10% of lost seeds
copper apple: 25%
bronze: 50%
silver apple: 75%
gold apple: 100%
