5.1 and LFE support?
i have a dedicated sub (not a generic 2.1 setup but an actual center line sub) and a 5.1 configuration

does this game support proper surround features and dedicated sub or am i going to have to limit myself to headphones

Depressingly enough it seems there's no surround support at all. For surround sound games, Waves NX (headtracked 3D audio) has no problem keeping the sound of objects behind me actually behind me when I turn my head - turn to the right, and the thing behind you is heard in the right ear as you'd expect. But with stereo-only sources, it effectively renders as a stereo field in the monitor's direction - basically like your own private desk speakers. When you turn your head to the right, you hear objects behind you in your left.

Fract... is stereo. Was seriously hoping to immerse in a panoramic soundscape. Will have to look for something else and just... play this with the headtracking disabled... as much as it hurts to say...

well i upgraded to a 5.1 surround with dedicated LFE and its nicer to use in games that support it

it just sucks that this game doesnt seem to support that
