Help with catching the rabbit

Anybody succeeded with Princess catching the rabbit in the second chapter with the first attempt? It runs away after I pull the rope, as there is one corner of the trap still being lose...

You need to adjust the trap. For starters, you should pull up the stakes.

I've pulled up all but one of the stakes.. it won't let me pull the last out or trigger the trap

Use the rope with the pelt to thread it through the new holes and change your trap into a bag snare.

I have the same problem where I can't trigger the trap because the rabbit is standing on it. Tharian, what do you mean by using the rope with the pelt? The rope is already threaded through it.

Put the stick back on the trap once the rope is threaded through. Then activate the trap.
(I'm aware this post is ancient but it might help folks like me who're playing the game for the first time now).
