Will there be a third?

I've slowly played my way through Chains of Satinav and just finished Memoria.
I haven't enjoyed a point & click game like this in such a long time. Will there be another?

This is years later, but I ran through these two games in three days. I am absolutely in love with both of them, and would love a sequel.

This is one of the best adventure games I played. I really hope that there will be a third part!

I would love to see third part. Although it's not very real because of the different endings we can get for Geron and Nuri in the second game. Which is a pity, as I would really like to see them again as a happy adventurous couple. They deserve it.

Kevin Mentz, the director of Memoria, mentioned around 4 years ago that after finishing Memoria and going on vacations he thought how the story of the characters would continue. However, Daedalic was clearly not interested in a sequel, Kevin hasn't worked in Daedalic for year now, and the people who have worked in the game have probably been all gutted by corporates.

Daedalic ownership has changed since then, though of course, the probability of seeing any more of the high quality PnC adventures that made them famous is still 0.

Are you joking? I know ... humor is subjective ... but that wouldn't seem to be much of a joke.

Or are you confused and lumping in some other games - perhaps from the Dark Eye Universe - with this small series of two adventures? A third part certainly COULD have been awesome. A portal to the alternate universe where it exists would be nice. ;)
