Awful chapter 6 puzzle

I have to say that I think this puzzle really failed:

Obviously you have to stretch yourself really thin and reach down and around to get all three switches, but it takes so long and requires such careful manipulations that I just couldn't do it. I ran out of patience and just dropped down a couple of pieces to hit the switches as they fell. You really don't want to make puzzles that take such long, careful, frustrating work.

I'm stuck on the room right after this; I can't see what I'm supposed to do, the second set of buttons don't seem to do anything, and the first set is protected by electricity (that doesn't get switched off by the second set of buttons); and it looks like the rest of the room is empty...

nvm, found the solution on another thread on the forum.

This game occasionally has an issue with making clear something is interactable and not just part of the scenery...
