Bugged ending?

[Under Your Bed]

So I'm watching some women's corpse burning in the darkness. I wanted to finish this game, but seems I've run into a bug maybe.

I've killed everything in the forest, left & returned again then killed one more floating skull. Nothing happens. I've spoken to the wraith guy & all he says is to speak to some govenor.

Or is this the ending?

A village full of shadows, a wraith & a burning corpse. None of them do anything.

Any help would be great, thanks.

Was same problem. I thought it's bug. But go to Hope Fort. Talk to Alison. Then ring the bell & talk with Alison's father.

ye talk to her n her dad n Alison again n then to the father again till u can say to the father he can no longer remain there. then u do the same to all the wraiths u found so far condem to torment or send them in peace is up to u. once u free all the spirits (shadows n wraiths) talk with Alison again n traven to the forbidden wilds n head to the place Tabitha (Alison's sister) was burned (prepare for a big fight). then talk to Tabitha n free her too. the rest is pretty much straightfoward, cant miss it.

I was hoping there was a bit more to the ending as it felt incomplete. I'll go try this.

OK so I am again stuck with what to do. There is no indication of where I need to go or what I am supposed to be doing & I don't want to be wandering across multiple maps to find I've taken the wrong direction.

Alison said she'll follow me, but I need to kill some guys first. She ran off & disappeared somewhere. I killed all the guys & now I'm standing at the fort with no idea what to do?

The map shows no objective marker, no area of interest marked, there's no prompt, not even a visual indication on screen to direct me to explore a location.

Am I to assume she's ran to the burning women who isn't there because I freed her? It doesn't seem to make sense.

Don't be ashamed. I even start the whole game from the beginning because of it. Pretty confusing.

I've found this final part to be needlessly vague & confusing. I know Alison said about escape. I thought maybe I needed to return to where the ship wreck was so luckily I didn't do that. It's even further away than the Tabatha's execution site.

Wow. Well I definitely wouldn't have started a new playthrough, you were obviously convinced that you maybe missed something.

I think I was worn out by all the back tracking across multiple maps too, so hopefully I can finally finish this.

I'm glad I'm not the only 1 having the same problem,I,ve been round & round the maps. I still have wraiths & shadows in Fort Hope & 1 wraith & shadow prior to that. I've visited everyone & everywhere numerous times, there is nothing to be heard in daylight or night. The only thing I'm wondering is how important are the various gifts you have to offer? There is 1 unmarked grave I can't find either.

Shame is I've really enjoyed the game it's been brilliant but the ending is so confusing (yeah I know I'm a bit thick) it's starting to piss me off.

I just finished it with the help from here. The game is great, really enjoyable, but this last part kinda ruins it & breaks the flow. I don't know if the gifts affect anything, I just gave them all to Alison. At first I complimented her in the dialogue options because I thought it might unlock additional objectives or hidden areas on the map, but she just seemed to reject them.

You'll find the unmarked grave at the end before you finish the game.

I did begin to slowly lose interest, but really wanted to finish it & I'm glad I did.

Yay, finished thanks to you guys. Now to go back & mop up the remaining achievements, wasted so much time wandering round the maps, didn't realise you could teleport between maps & didn't spot the indicators on the compass when listening for quite a while; I feel a right wally.

Still, absolutely brilliant game.

Edit: just noticed I still don't have achievement for finding all the graves; strange as I actually have screenshot of her grave at the end

In the end. Should interact with grave, before talking to Alison.
