The 2 boxes lead me to 2 different locations not to totems. I've cleansed 2 out of the 3 totems, and am having a tough time finding the third.
Thanks for the tip - I put on Listen HUD but am confused as to what it exactly does. I see squares at the right and left of my compass and I assume I am supposed to keep them lit up, but I keep going in circles.
Ok - I am really REALLY not dumb - why can't I get the hang of this.
Oh and Craig - despite my frustration, so far this game is AMAZING! I love the art style - it remindsd me of 300 and Sin City. Absolutely incredible.
Just use Listen without graphical HUD. Play in the headphones. Turn until there is no sound pan into one of your ears. When you face the sound, just move forward.
This may be part of the problem - you see I have a 5.1 surround sound speaker set. I wonder if the game's sound feature has been thrown off by my intrepid and flagrant use of expensive sound equipment.
And I still wanna know how to use the sound hud.
We've heard reports that spatialization doesn't work for some people with 5.1 setups, but others are fine. As a test, you could try switching to stereo playback to see if that helps.
I tried to get the squares both lit up but they just take me back to the fort. I know I'm doing something really stupid, I just can't figure out what :\
