FPS with primitive firearms

i love this genre but aside from MB Warband mods or WFAS they just really arent around. It's really too bad because i like it when each shot counts. any other games that employ this type of weaponry?

I also love this. I remember I used to love this Battlefield 2 pirate mod which hard mostly muskets and such in it. sadly, I can't seem to find many games like this(and I don't really like MountNBlade Napoleonic wars).

I was a huge fan of the weapon mechanics. It would be interesting to see a multiplayer version of the game.

Dishonored only has a flintlock pistol and crossbow for firearms. Not a heavy focus on shooting though.

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare has an Archer class that uses bows, crossbows, slings, and javelins. It's PVP only (although you can play against bots,) and the focus seems to be on melee combat, but it's still really fun.

Lol tons of games do medival weapons well. I dont care, I want muskets.

Why arent there more? All I know of is MountnBlade Napoleonic wars.

totally. that's why i was suggesting a niche market for Blackpowder. i mean the name and all....

well you could look at some mods for mount and blade warband. there are quite a few with muskets, flintlocks etc.... with fire and sword is pretty good... but yeah if you want a kick ass FPS RPG tye game like the elder scrolls with muskets, t jsut aint out there. Hopefully these kind and ever talented folks at Blackpowder would be so inclined to take up the call. I mean they've already got a good foundation to work off of. hint hint.

In the Chivalry DLC Deadliest Warrior there is the Pirate class who has a flintlock pistol as well as a blunderbuss. He doesn't really have many benefits in melee combat so he's a little bit weaker in that aspect.

and lol modern warfare, it's medieval warfare(but initials still are MW)

Sang Froid has a few black powder rifles in it. Dont use them a ton, but they have their uses and reloading them takes time, like in Betrayer, so you have to make your shots count. Same type of animation. Edit: It's not an FPS though, it's a TPS
