There's always an option for a stealth. After defeating another wave you can hide behind the trees and make dozens of headshots.
I tried stealth but the other waves beginned to spawn WHILE i was fighting the previous wave, making it hard to sneak. Anyways, I'll try to hide behind a tree or rock and see if it works.
I remember dooming two guys, but i sent 5 other souls to "peace". I think i'll just try to solve the few investigations i left and then save the remaining souls.
J'ai essayé vite fait les grenades, ça n'avait pas l'air de beaucoup les blesser, mais s'il en faut "que" 2 , ça peut être une très bonne alternative. (normalement je les tue avec un coup de musket et un tomahawk)
I tried to go back and hide just after the battle began. So i was able to sneak a little bit at the beginning. Then i stay FAR from the deers and shoot them at long range with the musket (with decent reload time, and a charm to make reloads faster).
Later i went back to the indian village, where i could heal myself. Some deers and "skulls" followed me but heh, i had infinite health there.
Everything suddenly appeared terribly easy. Thank you OptoNick and Driv3n
You just need to move a lot, use the surrounding rocks as cover, and use everything you have in your inventory. The tomahawks are extremely powerful and you should have three of them in your inventory by that time. (Always remember to pick them up after use.)
Moving a lot seemed useless, and taking cover was even more deadly. Maybe we just don't "move" the same way.
