What stoker victims does "Pacifist" achievement refer?

I finished the game running by MOST of enemies and got this achievement.
I clearly did kill some enemies (or at least bonked them until they stopped moving) so what is this achievement about?

If it's working correctly, the achievement is achieved if you complete the game without eliminating any enemies with lethal weapons (the baton is non-lethal and bosses don't count towards the achievement).
However, a few players have mentioned getting the achievement despite killing enemies with the guns, which is on my "potential bugs" list, even though I haven't been able to make it happen on my PC.

I had a habit of saving my ammo as if I was buying it for real money, so it is entirely possible, that I did not shoot any enemy to death.

By the way, great game. I was waiting for it since the demo and it did not disappoint. Gave me legitimate scares more than a few times
