Urban Chaos: Riot Response
This is part of the same series right? Why isn't Riot Response on Steam? Such a fun game should really have been ported to PC by now. If it has been someone should let me know where to find it below. :2017stickytube:
Also for those who have played both, how does Urban Chaos stack up to its FPS counterpart?

It does not stack up to it, cus they aren't counterparts or part of the same series. They just happen to have similar names, neither has any relation or connection to the other.
However to say how they compair, the game play is very different as is the style of game and the story. This game is much older than Riot response and uses a third person action style based around finding criminals and either arresting or killing them eventually leading into some weird supernatural stuff about half way through, very different from Riot Response.
As for why riot response isn't on steam is cus there is no PC port of the game, it was a console exclusive for ps2 and xbox. Hope this answers your questions.

Perfect answer, I thank you, generally when I play Riot Response I go for arrests over kills if possible, it's a shame it's not on PC though. I feel like I could really benefit from mouse and keyboard in that game. I didn't expect such a thorough answer so soon, it is appreciated.:praisesun:

I actually think they are part of the same series. At least in the same sense that Prey (2006) and Prey (2017) are part of the same series. Basically the publisher owns the Urban Chaos IP and passed it on to Rocksteady to make use of it. They at least share some similar themes of playing as a special police officer who uses both lethal and non-lethal means of subduing crazed gang members.
