Prison Break
I have some problem with building the rehab prison in the campaign. I build one security room, and a cell block with 10 cells in. Outside the door I built two of those laser towers. I have all the facilities for the staff(sleep, food and cleaning). 6 staff working in security room and 5 security droids.

At first it goes well and money roll in but a bit later in the mission there are prisoners running all over the station and the prisoners in the cells escape. And I loose when 10 prisoner escape the station.

Im not sure what I doing wrong, have I built a too small/big prison? Any tips would be appreciated!

I just checked and they are called "security column" in the game.

I also think I understand what I did wrong, I built the prison cells too far from the entrance. Those security droids where working their tail plates off. I will start over again and build it more effective.

Never had any Prison Breaks in my games ... only them getting released after a while and netting me 1k Credits.
Maybe it would be a good idea to hire some Kavagorians as security forces.

But OK you said campaign ... that´s a huge difference ... I always play sandbox mode

hire more bots, keep a deadly close eye on those with the rings appearing above there head easy way is pick up a bot and place it right at them and most importantly hire lots of kastorgorians and salt hogs cause theres little c'thulu guys that are agents who will disable the cells and electricity walls also when they attack other aliens or when you order a attack on them it causes everyone to run around into other areas and the bots to stop transporting criminals to cells, another useful hint get a second jail helped me greatly when i had some escaping on me.

hope it helps and good luck

Yup, initially all those years back, that mission caused a couple of headaches. The key for me was to get as many bots as possible, and grow the installation once or twice. Starting out too large will possibly bankrupt you, and if you don't grow as the mission goes on you can't accomodate the inmates.

You can also close the Port when your Prison is full and open it again when you have space again for new prisoners.
And what you already said build the Prison close to the Port.

Thanks for the advice! You all are awesome! :B1:

I finished the mission but with 6 escapes and 3 deaths due to bomb attacks. I could have done it better, and I will go back to the mission after I finished the game.

i never knew that was possible and i played this game years ago back on disc and i actually opened both sides early which in my opinion was bad cause too much empty space and they all ran there when there were agent attacks

Just switch the energy on/off . When you switch to off the lights of the port are red and the peeps only can leave the Station . Then when you have space in your prison switch back on and let some new in and switch back to off .

thanks man i knew bout that system but that + port never clicked to me
Put your brig next to your docking portal, keep your security scuzzers near it, you can beam them up and move them about to speed them up.

If you get too many crims on your station you can power down the portal, just remember that you'll start running out of money quickly if you do this for too long.
