Difference Between Gog and Steam version

Is there any differences in the game between the Gog and the Steam version of it?I know that GoG one is DRM free so you dont need steam client to play it but usually gog version has some fixes and other stuff thrown in it.Is there any?Or is it just Steam vs DRM Free?

I wouldn't be surprised if they simply released the GOG enhanced version, same as we're seeing with a lot of games lately. It's probably the same game. No confirmation on that though.

Yeah, Steam is releasing a lot of GOG stuff lately. No chance, I stick to the GOG versions I already own.

I have the GOG version but the graphics are a little buggy. Had to turn off some option in settings ( some hardware/software option ) to stop the screen from flickering and it still flickers occasionially. If this problem is solved in the steam version I might just get it. But I have my doubts.

Here is a screenshot of my settings.. Not sure if its the perfect one.. Flickering still happened a bit:

I think the settings were Transform/lighting options and Display Method that improved it a little. Try playing with those.

Not sure if this helps but I don't know if steam has the updated CardID.tom file. You could google for that. It should be a file with settings per graphics cards. I guess everything is worth a shot if you have problems.

If anyone knowns a foolproof solution I am willing to listen as well..

I managed to make my game work pretty much perfectly by using the edited cardid.tom file, and then manually adding my own graphics card into it, but I had very few issues anyway. If people are interested in how to add your own card, I can have a shot at writing a tutorial.

Switching vsync to blit does seem to fix the flickering :)
