Error on starting

"Configuration error: You video card does not have enough memory to play The Nomad Soul" I have GeForce GTX 570. Please help me with this issue. First time this game was started but second time not.

yup, claiming video card error. looks like GOG has a fix but Steam so far does not. hopefully they will patch the Steam version so we can play.

Same happened to me as well, Steam should bring in a fix soon.

I think they should add the VRAM fix, similar in the GOG version.

i fixed it by setting compatibility for win 98..

Wow! It works. But if you want 1920x1080 resolution you can set compatibility for Windows XP. Large resolutions doesn't work for Windows 98 compatibility

This solution does not fix the error when the hardware acceleration is enable =(

I just bought this and didn't read the forums before. I can't get it to run:
- I tried setting compatibility mode (tried all compatibility modes)
- I tried running as an administrator
- I tried lowering the refresh rate
- I tried lowering the resolution

I always get a DirectX: Unknown Error message.
