When I saw this game on sale I jumped on it , but my god the controls in this game are horrible. No mouse support other than looking around. I shut it down, got frustrated, reboot...shut down...reboot and then finally gave up. I loved this game when it came out, although I never beat it I really wanted to play it again but I can't handle the old school controls....all I really wanted was to be able to move while looking with the mouse...and no I am not going throught the pain of remappping keys and dling xpadder to go through more of a similar pain.

I found it at least lets you use mouse control for the FPS sections, but not much else it seems.

It needs some mod.. David cage is just bad designer, always was. He would be maybe average movie director.
Using WSAD in game menu is sick.

There wasn't a simple mod that could allow you to use the pad? I am pretty sure of it.

The controls and inability to fight well are what killed this game for me waaaaaaay back in 1999 when it first came out. I still use the font files that it came with though, the Omicron font is awesome because it doesn't look like text unless you know what it is

I tried DC emulators. I have couple of them Chainkaist, Demul,nullDC.. but newest is 3 years old.
Demul is able to boot it, but sound is broken in intro and it looks slow. So this seems to not be solution..

David Cage didn't design any of Quantic Dream's games. Design has always been done by other individuals. Even just a modicum of research will show that.

that's a dangerous assumption you're making here.
the tank controls suck, yeah. the fighting controls suck, yeah. but it appears that there are workarounds. so just be grateful for that. I kept dying on the rooftop shootout so i stopped playing about a year ago, but i think i'll give it another shot soon.
