Did you finish the main game? The hot spring was post game pre-dlc.

In order to get to the hot spring you need to do the grand adventure. If you do the main story without the adventure, you will be locked in a cycle.

Like what do you mean without the adventure? I am on day 108 and nothing has happened yet.
