What mod are you referring to? And what kind of new stuff?
The patch that restores the game's content, maybe? It's on version 1.04. I don't know when it got updated to that version, though.
How would one go about updating said patch, I have never updated a patch on a game much less an H one a that.
That's technically a DLC, yes. But not what I'm referring to. I meant an actual game expansion that adds additional scenarios for other characters in the cast.
The h-patch has been available since day 1, and and updates to that would only be bug fixes unless the expansion has come out.
Usually with these things, you just go back to where you got it from, redownload it, and reapply/reinstall it.
Yes. What I'm saying is that the person you replied to was most likely talking about the official patch. They probably typed "mod" instead of "patch" by accident.
I am not aware of any mods for this game, much less one that adds "a lot of new stuff" as the poster said. They were almost certainly talking about the official patch.
My best guess is there is in fact no mod to inquire about.
Edit: apparently I was wrong! There's a mod that adds color, and apparently some that even add content.
The patch is an executable file, it should give you easy instructions when you run it.
If you're a Windows user, there might be some issues if the game is installed in a system folder, however. But if your game is installed in a proper location there should be no issue.
Technically the core game already has all the H content in it, this is how it's distributed on many platforms.
However, some platforms (like Steam) would have refused to sell the game with the H content in it. So the developer had to break off a piece of their own game, essentially creating a censored version (which created some technical issues, for a while you couldn't even get past an early challenge in the censored version). Steam sells the censored version, and players have to restore the game to its full, normal version by using the free patch.
The patch file is named "Living With Sister Monochrome Fantasy EN Patch v1.04", and the version number implies that there has been multiple versions of it. However, I cannot say if newer versions simply fixed bugs or if they added more content (some patches do, nowadays).
I also cannot confirm whether there will be new content in the future, or what form new content would take if there were to be some (a new version of the free patch, free DLC, paid DLC, or a sequel).
Edit: apparently there's going to be DLC in a month or two.
Let's patiently wait
