Problems Passing the "Prepare a Plan" Requirement

From the looks of it, it seems like the game is not functioning properly and is bugged. I have read other posts here and am still confused. Is the patch required to fix this issue is available only on the developers' website or is it a work in progress for the Steam release? It is kind of annoying that I can only get half an hour into the game before I hit a wall.

i dont know exactly, since the devs didnt mention anything about that bug til now, but it could be that the bug only happens on specific systems and i believe in that type of game and genre literally most of the players will play with the patch - so it's rarely to see people having the issue or seeing it's already reported here.
So if you someone like me who has the bug, you might just need to wait til they adress and fix it. It's already reported to them, so for now, only patching it with the 18+ version gonna let you pass the events. But you can do it like me, install the patch, wait for the two times the sister will appear after learning how to cook (chef skill) at the tavern, let the event pass, save your game and simply deinstall and delete the patch files and reinstall it. I am able to play further with the normal version, the only bug that will happen that the "Lust" at the top wont disappear.
And yeah, it's annoying, i played 2 whole runs because of it, just because i dont wanna spoil me here at the forums to take a look .. so it's a bit weird it has "Overwhelmingly Positive" on steam, but i believe it's just because literally mostly everyone is playing with the 18+ patch.
It is a cool game, with and without the patch, but a bit sad, that it's having a hardlock in it's current steam release state.

In order to clear this part of the story, you need few things:
1. Once this quest started, you need to eat your dinner made by your sister as early as the quest starts
2. You are required to have cooking learned, else you fail

BTW This is one of the two ways to clear this part of the story. Another way is that you beat Akatsuki the first time you meet him and he will let you participate in Seal Hunt Request and you are REQUIRED to CLEAR it before the DEADLINE ends.

that's the thing bunch of people mentioning here, also me. This wont work, the triggers just dont happen in the rated 6+ version, only with the 18+ patch. About beating Akatsuki is another thing, tried it several times, but for myself i wasnt able til now :D

It's bugged, just download the uncensored patch and it will be fixed

...doubt it's a bug.. just that these games from this publisher are typically incomplete without the devloper's patch. Since for some reason... they see these games too AO for Steam... and seem to always have them censored to a rated E game. (even though other AO games reside in Steam, just fine.... maybe Steam has another problem with this game. And I can think of 3 possible reasons for it....)
