Nevermind, apparently a speedrunner just furiously clicked on the blocked turnwheel near the gate, which worked.

I'm having troubble finding all 5 letters
I've found 'A' 'G' 'I' and 'S' but cannot find 'E'

There are no tutorial on this particular issue which makes me think
I'm the only one have the problem. Also, I don't know if Mikiko was
suppose to cross the deep fall (with a waterfall) using oneself as
an extention for her to land on instead of ending on a deadend at the end of the fall.

Is there anyone who can post a guide on Part 3 with all letters location?

Go to E2M4C and walk straight forward into the temple. You find E from there. The E2M4C is the map you go to when you've left the temple with the spider water pool, go down hill, map changes, you're now in E2M4C, you'll see a wooden bridge and a temple in front of you. The E is in the furthermost corner in that structure's first floor near the water fountain.

Edit: I probably should make a Steam Guide for finding the keys. At least you found the spider pool key. That's the one people usually miss.

I also had a lot of trouble while streaming this portion earlier tonight. I popped in here and you pointing out that I needed to just keep progressing helped. I think what really screwed me up initially was that weird symmetrical room with the two ramps on either side, and the A in the spider pool...


I guess long story short if others are struggling to find where to go I would say check around the edges of each area because there are some crappy side caves that you have to explore in order to access another portion (loading screen) of the overall map.


There is a small bit of backtracking that you have to do after activating one of those big rock elevator-lookin' things that drops down as well, to cross a bridge that it makes in an earlier area...


I may try to just trim down that section into a video to help from the VOD...


Anyway- I would say try to keep in mind to 'keep progressing' more than less rather than backtrack. From the A onward you will mostly be accessing the side caves to find the pieces.

if people give a ♥♥♥♥ i have an opposite problem. i cannot find g for the life of me and I don't wanna waste time backtracking to find nothing there. I can't even find a comprehensive guide for the life of me. can anyone help? I'm playing on v1.3 btw so I can't just skip it no matter how hard i try

In 'Daikatana [#11] [E2-M4] - Acropolis' with the current channel name 'RetroGamer biz' around 28:19~ish minutes they pick up the 'G', it is somewhat of a confusing jaunt. Perhaps around 26:43~ish start watching to get bearing/ sense of the area.

I'm playing the game now and holy hell - I can't wait to be done with this section. I was missing two letters - and if I HAD to go back - I would've looked up a longplay on YouTube for the remainder of the game INSTEAD of playing it myself and go back. Jesus. Thank you!

It's really annoying that the gear that connects the shortcut from the end of the level to the exit is obscured by shadows if you're not using the patched version. I had to look it up after wandering around for a half hour. I think technically you can skip that but you have to walk all the way back to the entrance while babysitting the AI and sitting through load screens.
