Itemization is weird

This game has the worst use of items ive seen for a while.

There are tons of awesome looking armors - but you cant use 99% of them since stats are bound to item-designs.

There are even tons of low level and white armors that look nice - but nobody uses them since the timeframe where they would even make sense is probably 20 minutes long.

So there is a ton of wasted cool armors and weapons - all of them completely pointless.

And whats even worse is that cosmetics are very expensive - and cost even more in variants and you pay for every colorchange everytime ...


And the worst part about cosmetics:
- most of them look awful compared to other armors etc.
- most of them are 1 or 2 piece outfits so you can hardly combine anything
- everyone looks almost the same
- color variants with special effects are very limited and the paterns just look awful
- the ammount of cosmetics you can even buy at the moment is a joke


Honestly why cant they just add Transmorph and split the cosmetic armors in individual parts to combine and add options to change colors of weapons etc. - i would even pay for transmorph stones ...

Also - maybe its just me but for example the new season pass outfit neither looks good nor does it fit into the world. It just ruins immersion.

Most of the people using it look like a mix between a power ranger and kryptonians.

We definitely need some type of transmog.

Theres no argument against it, simply cause skins exist. The possibility of saying that you should show the armor / weapon you are using for strategic reasons goes out of the window when you can just cover everything with a clown suit

And even if that wasnt the case - i dont even understand why they did it like this in the first place.

There are tons of green and even white skins - in reality most ppl will never use them because they are outleveled/outgeared almost instantly - yet many low level gear looks better than high end gear - and than store skins.

Also - if they want to sell store skins - how about they make the shop not such a joke - i saw a video of the korean store ...

Thats a common strat by AGS - release mid while theres a ton of players and they are skin starved, and then later on you release the good stuff. Some sort of minmaxing potential buyers, if that makes sense.

I'd assume that this is a tried and proven method of optimizing revenue but considering who we are talking about...who knows...

You are playing a cash generator made by a Korean Developer......

I am not even being funny here, Korean MMO are not designed to be fun, they are at their core designed to frustrate you and force you to feel the need to purchase items for real money.....

Name one Korean MMO that at launch doesn't have an entire cash shop selling you shortcuts to everything if not direct power gains....... I will wait.
