Worst pvp ever.
There's this game called World of Warcraft that figured out YOU NEED FING DIMINISHING RETURNS ON STUN.

in my case (GS/wand) I focus tanking and CC stun and actually have low damage output. so a 3v3 I will typically have 100-150k+ damage taken, but only 30-50k damage output.

the more pure DPS classes don't usually have chain-stun. ... except gs-dagger, which usually results in an immediate, unstoppable death-chain,... even with me at 20k hp and blessed barrier up....

GS sword is just way to op with all the roots and overcharge.

With all Stuns having a max of 80% hit chance if you PvP you should build evasion and make that 80% a lot lower. I still agree with you though PvP sucks.

many games before this and before WoW figured out to do diminishing returns on stuns, roots etc... EQ figured it out back in 1999 when we would have 80 v 80 guild wars, diminishing returns were on roots, fears, stuns, mez's etc... crazy how UO and EQ games made 25+ years prior to TnL got it right and ppl enjoyed the pvp, but newer games some how said ♥♥♥♥ all that. Made it super cookie cutter meta bs with no diminishing returns cause thats real skill based just stun locking someone to death lol.

I like it a lot more than World of Warcraft which is casual for babies... this game you get punished if you let them stun you. Buy the PvP CC break trinket. Use your abilities.

I dunno man git good basically because crying about it on forums 'aint going to help. I quit today anyway because the game is full of toddlers like you that refuse to adapt and prefer PvE whatever that means. Rather watch paint dry or just do anything else so I will.

It's busted all around. The same weapon combos that have all of the CC are also tanky. It's just too easy for melee to teleport/shackle/prone etc.. why even have ranged if you're just going to give melee an instant teleport with no counterplay. I've been using stun mine with crossbow and I've noticed half of the time they can get their combo off on me before the mine even detonates.. just sad another busted pvp mmo.

If the game is based on large scale pvp then why even have CC... ?

So play Scorpion (Crossbow/Dagger). Easy to escape any CC/Stun combo with Camouflage + PvP CC break trinket. There's your solution. If you don't want to implement it, fine, but don't complain about melee CC specialist locking you down if you want to play a ranged glass cannon with no escape.

It's the worst mass PvP i've encountered and it's crazy to say that when im a GW2 veteran and NCSOFT own both games they learned nothing from it.

surpisingly they also had Wildstar which had fairly good pvp and class balances besides maybe that tech class healer, that ♥♥♥♥ class was pretty nasty when geared out with its dmg and healing, but besides that was mostly balanced, obj to fight over, diminishing returns etc... plus they had probably one of the best custom housing systems in any game i have ever played.

Hello everyone. Sure NCSOFT could learn from GW2, but they don't own it. As it is from Arena-net. NCSOFT is the publisher. But Arena-Net made there own engine so no unreal engine there. I play GW2 since releasea and where i am back now. What i am bothering in T&L fight system is that the skills can be used from both weapon sets so why do they have weapon swap button? Also why do rocks and walls letting arrows and other projectiles let through? They could save a lot of work by made all maps flat and then 2-3 guilds fight till only one is alive. Meanwhile restart the so called "fun" on an other map so they can beat eachother eternaly.

You do not need to own a game, to implement such stuff. There is no copyright on diminishing returns......
