Huge Performance Issue
I have an AMD build with RX 7900 XTX and 7800x3D, 32 GB Ram and NVME for the game.
My PC is using more resources to run a Browser than the Game (kidding but it is not far from the truth), except from RAM.

While I am outside the world, I have 180 FPS in average but whenever it is night, whenever there is an event with many people or when I am in town, my FPS are unstable and they don't even make sense. Sometimes even 5 FPS.

Changing In-Game Settings only affect my open world performance, when it comes to Night, PVP or Events, my FPS is exactly the same (or around 5 fps difference). Even with low player count, disabled animation etc.

I have seen players with 4090 as well have the same issue but most of reddit is mentioning AMD.

Is there any fix? Tried Radeon "Quality" Profile, tried Engine ini, tried everything.
My GPU is not boosting, VRAM is sleeping, CPU feels like not being used after some percentage.

Currently using Lossless Scaling to have atleast playable framerate to dodge some spells on time, but not enough.

During the BETA, I remember facing zero FPS problems in EPIC but the population was way lower so I will say that's why.

idk. did you check if there is some task thats running in the background now and then thats tanking your dps? i play on high settings on a 1660 and granted my fps is only 60 but its ALWAYS 60 (yes i cap it at 60). In town, open world dungeons, events, and world bosses.

Yes I have checked everything. I am into Tech and PC in general and the first think I did was every single "most common fix".
Tried installing the game to a different NVMe, to a SATA SSD, nothing.
Latest BIOS, Latest Chipset Driver, Latest GPU Driver.
Tried Disabling Rebar, DX12, Motherboard Audio Driver, iGPU. Tried all in game settings, changing Temp location, checked for memory leak, tried playing with JUST THE GAME and Steam Running (and Riot Vanguard).
The only thing that I haven't tried yet is to Disable Riot's Vanguard but I doubt it will fix it, gonna try after the maintenance.

I installed the game to my extremely under-powered laptop compared to my Desktop and it was all fine :')

I really doubt with just high settings you get 60 fps on world bosses, especially grand and in Conflict. Even 4090 cant handle that. You need to reduce some setting, especially amount of players and effects and it will still drop down.

Try to reduce some setting ingame:
- Disable Hair strands
- reduce Character count
- reduce Shadow quality
- reduce effect quality
- reduce Character quality
Those things have highest effect when there is a lot of players in one place and expecially on WB combat

If not enough you can try things like Ambient occlusion and Vegetation quality.

First week of launch i had smoothest experience ive ever had in large fights. Now i have to use dlss on perfomance and almost everything set to low. Its just amazon being too good in degrading game perfomance. You cant do anything about it.
kr works perfect btw

I have tried every single setting as I said in other comment. EVERY SINGLE ONE of them, Gameplay or Graphics.

Yea the first few weeks it ran butter smooth even when there was HUGE crowds of people. Now after the few latest updates, I get FPS drops even when there is no one around.

I don't know what they did, but they need to reverse it.

Actually true, I checked some recorded gameplay I had from the launch and I had problem only getting into new areas with many people that went away after some seconds of loading.

Can confirm huge performance drop at night. In the dungeons especially.

i figured out for my 7800xt u have to enable the fps max setting at global custom and took it for tl.exe at around 180-200 fps, this gave me more power for my graphic card and did a stable fps ingame at 70-120. but graphic card is max. consuming 200 watt, on loading screen its 270 watt....dont know, looks like bad optimasation from game AND adrenalin software.

edit: playing most on high, shaders on epic, loading shaders epic and population min

Did you set the FPS Max through Radeon Chill?
