Is armor visible?

Greetings! Just a quick question about the game (tried googling it but kinda ended empty-handed).

Is armor visible in Throne and Liberty (boots, bracers, hat, chest, pants, cloak etc.) like in the old/classic MMORPG and RPG games?
(Downside; you might end up looking like a clown that kills immersion. Upside: Level and armor progression actually feels valuable and tangible and gives a further reason to level-up, loot/craft cool looking armor).

Or are we dependant on the ”new mmorpg style outfit-system” that covers the entire character (usually just the helmet is seperate) and that armor is cosmetic-only?

Yes, individual pieces are visible. The helm, chest, legs, gloves, boots and cloak are at least. I'm not sure about bracers or jewelry now that I'm thinking about it.

yes! it is visible. The downside is that you don't have transmogs, so the levelling gear, depending on what you pick, will look absolutely garbage.

I went from a pretty ok looking rogue (im a healer lol) to a pimp in a bathing robe

That being said; I am surprised that we don’t have transmogs but maybe we have some ”outfit” system that hides the pimp bathing robe while we are levelling up (until we get a powerful(ish) and decent looking/matching set of armor?

PS! No disrespect to fellow pimps in bathing robes.
