Is it just my server and guild, or is there a serious shortage of healers in the game?

No, not like in every mmorpg. First of all, there are barely any healing spells. Second of all, this game unlike others actively punishes you for not being pure DPS.

Not to mention you have to deal with pathetic idiots blaming the healer for everything more than in other MMORPGs because of how limited the healing kit is.

healing in this game is a pain in the ass at times especially if using a controller lol

Most of them don’t even want to participate in PvP; they’re all pacifists. PvP can be incredibly stressful for healers since they are often heavily targeted by the enemy team, making it difficult to stay alive. Additionally, healing in PvP usually requires faster reflexes and different strategies than in PvE, which some healers may not enjoy. Eh seems I have to switch to healer ((((

healing spells are too limited, with cooldowns that are too long for what you actually need and targeting people is clunky

In pvp you just get swarmed and stunlocked to death.

Oh and boss rewards only count dps so by playing healer you get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over when it comes to loot drops.

Tanks and healers are not great in this P2W product because of contribution not working for them. You are forced to go in a team to get carried.
