- Black desert online ain't that bad looking even tho it's pretty old now.
- Ashes of creation although it's still in alpha stats so probably going to improve quite a lot.
But on top of it, TnL is on the top when it comes to pure graphics but beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say
I guess currently TnL is uncontested for the genre
TnL has terrible anti-aliasing, everything looks pixelated and volumetric fog can't even be turned off completely. The only thing it has is maybe the detail in gear, and the physics of how your clothes move.
The recent zones of wow and gw2 are absolutely on par with tnl, and they don't run at 15 fps as soon as you encounter 3 players.
Game has no excuse to run this bad when it has nothing groundbreaking going on graphics-wise. Spell effects look downright ugly compared to any mmo. Wows spells blow it out of the water, not even a contest there.
As I said, it's kind of subjective and up to personal taste, but wow's "cartoon" graphics is at least not pixelated and very easy on the eye.
In wow and gw2 you can also dive underwater, not rubberband and glitch through the whole river and waterfall every time you have the misfortune to enter water.

The frame rates drops and performance optimization of both WoW and GW2 are much worse than Throne and Liberty.
GW2 suffers significant FPS drops on world bosses and WvW, likely because it uses a modified Guild Wars 1 engine that can only be pushed so far.
WoW is incapable of WvW, and we all get massive FPS drops and disconnects whenever player made Horde v Alliance was setup.
Throne and Liberty is the only mmo with decent graphics that is optimized extremely well for countless assets simultaneously.
That being said, I think Guild Wars 2 is the best of the three games because it's combat is the best but Throne and Liberty is praiseworthy for offering large-scale playability.
I don't remember having any issues on gw2 large-scale, but I may need to revisit the game to give you a proper opinion without lying.
I do agree about wow's large-scale being terrible, it indeed is, they modified something about the engine around Legion when they reworked large parts of the game, or they may just not allocate enough server resources since large-scale is not really a thing on wow anyway.
I heard people praising tnl's optimization and large-scale, but that was before Talandre. Right now in practice, it's terrible on brand new hardware. World bosses and mass pvp is barely playable on my end. I'm gonna record my fps the next boss.
Imo, GW2 looks better and is much easier on the eye. We can agree to disagree.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! square pixalated walsl that seem like a game from loooong past!!!! you cant be serious comparing theese two games in graphics!!!!!!
