They probably playing for 40 hrs a day and doing everything two at once :D
Interesting stuff around 2:20
Botting, for those who do it, is only useful for farming green scroll contracts when the player isn't already engaged in something else (like sleeping lol).
These contracts are worth 5 points each and have a terrible drop rate.
Nevertheless, they can accumulate, and you can complete a bunch in a row, ensuring another boost in points, especially in low-level zones where you can kill everything very quickly.
The same amount of points is rewarded for a green scroll, whether it corresponds to a low-level or a high-level zone.
To reach that point (legit), you have to:
Complete all dynamic events (Nesting Grounds is the most easy one, 40 points assured).
Finish all daily contracts, which are now made lighter with cooking contracts.
Complete all dungeons, 1-Star and 2-Star.
Kill all available field bosses (And when there is an archboss event, you can transition from the peace boss to the archboss for an additional 50 points.)
Buy the pouch daily to obtain, and do, the abyssal blue contracts.
Do your Mystic Keys and hope for Portals to have more points.
Additionally:
Achieve a very high completion percentage of your guild contracts daily (1% completion equals 1 activity point - So you can gain up to 300 points if you're doing ALL contracts by yourself).
And the most important (which i find completly and utterly ridiculous)
Have a team with whom you can farm chests in Saurodoma for additional dungeon points (means they work for you, and you take all chests), and then rush the dungeons by yourself for more points.
I find it ridiculous because it's this boost, and only this one, that can get your ranking points really high. And it's a PvP event, whereas every single thing you do in this ranking is PvE or has a PvE version of it. But that's not the question.
Moreover, you must:
Take advantage of the battle pass shop items that you can buy with crystal points (prioritizing dungeon coins, followed by contract coins).
The daily 10% reduction means that if you have 15,000 points, you need to earn at least 1,500 points the next day just to maintain your level. The more points you have, the more challenging it becomes to stay at that level.
It's becoming real hard when you reach the 10k barrier.
As a former #1, I must say that this system is really unhealthy and, to some extent, forces people to resort to shady practices to not only achieve but also maintain their rank. However, I don't have any solutions to make it better.
Now anyone who's legit in this ranking has to be online at least 16 to 18 hours a day. Needless to say you have to do it for WEEKS before ranking high. Then you have to do it for as long as you want/need to stay on the top of the ladder.
That's really something that is not doable by everyone, and I don't recommend this to anyone.
Rain is quite cool to cast for a time, but it's really lonely, demanding and stressful when you're up there.
So stay at your rank whatever it is and enjoy the game in another way. Don't push it too far. I've got some friends who went completely crazy about it. Care about your mental health.
