Fully traited gears

I play the game extensively but I haven't found a way to fully strip a traited item. Is there a such thing in the game that I'm missing so that I can turn around and sell the item for Lucent after I've decided to try another class with different gear?

As far as I know it is used for T2 progression.

If you decide to go make another weapon, you have to do green -> blue -> purple for cheaper value progression or use the 9s you got and start from base (which you should never do).

nope, just like me you are gonna have to build it up from scratch, you can however use your first build gear if you want until you can get the new set done
