Hey everyone, I’m opening this thread to see if I’m not the only one feeling this way. TL is an awesome game with so much potential to grow—and it will grow. But I’ve noticed a lot of complaints coming from players who seem stuck in the mindset of other MMORPGs, trying to force those habits into a game with its own vibe.

1. This is an MMORPG. It’s not meant to be an RPG where you can grind everything in a week. The fun is in the challenge and the time investment. Embrace it.
2. Make friends and enjoy the game. Some of you are too focused on getting stronger and reaching the top. But news flash: once you’re there, the meta will change, and you’ll be chasing again. Enjoy the journey, not just the destination.
3. This is a cross-platform game. It’s not a mobile game, so stop treating it like one.
4. If you don’t like the game, leave. No one’s forcing you to stay. I’m tired of seeing players with hundreds of hours complaining because they’re frustrated with a fake sense of "happiness" they built in the game.
5. “Guild X keeps taking all the bosses, boohoo”. Stop whining and start grinding. Life’s the same way—there will always be someone stronger. Work harder and prove you’ve got what it takes.
Let’s keep it real and let the game grow. If you’ve got something to add, feel free. Just don’t bring that toxic energy here.

So earlier I decided to leave a steam review for this game. First feedback I've given for a game on Steam. It's crazy reading through all the reviews how you either love or hate this game. Split about as down the middle as you can be.

Game is truly free, you would be crazy to not give it a try.

Well i live in Spain,twice times i contacted support and twice times i get support from Amazon MEXICO. I ask them why i get support from mexico if i live in Spain and they say they control different southamerican countryes and Spain.

The point is that NC SOFT games have a PLAGUE of southamerican people who treat you like trash. It is sad after the lance update cause i would like to feel like the Lineage 2 warlord.

Sadly,Lineage 2 is another game of NCSOFT that is plagued by southamericans. Hell,even asian people marry with southamericans.

And even European servers are plagued with southamericans. At start i have no idea why southamericans are in NCSOFT games but after some times from then to now i stop asking questions and arrived at conclussions,some NCSOFT bosses are southamerican or are marryed with one.

About what you said regarding South Americans: calling them a “plague” or acting like their presence in games is a problem? That’s not cool. You’re generalizing an entire group of people based on personal frustrations, and that’s unfair. Games are meant to bring people together from all over the world. Turning this into a space for blaming or excluding others just makes the community worse for everyone.

It's funny.. I was a founder on Tera Online, and the same thing happened there. Huge Fan base vanished overnight... It never made sense to me, and I still think that game had the best fighting system of any MMO, even this one. This MMO is gorgeous, but it falls flat when you target an enemy and your character starts spamming an attack like a mobile game. I'll never get behind that... I'm waiting for a developer who played Tera to understand why that system was great... Until then... I'll keep waiting...

So, ugh, welcome to the internet. A place where people take off the mask and show their real selves under a thin vial of anonymaty. If you are looking for an argument in support of original sin or are under the delusion that people are mostly good, stick around and join in the case study on evil. On the upside, if you can service, you'll meet some of the most loyal, cool, forgiving and amazing people in the world here so it can really be worth the walk on the dark side if you spend your time looking for the light in others.
