IMO it looks like it's following New World and Lost Ark's western releases. Big flashy release, before fading in to relative obscurity with a loyal, niche fanbase who keep playing.

That doesn't mean the game will die. The amount of people I saw walking around Stonegard dressed as Christmas Waifus means that there's a lot of money being spent on the game. I think there's definitely going to be some server consolidations in coming months and, after that, it might hold steady.
Game drastically needs content to draw away from the grind.
What do you consider dead?
I play BnS probably a peak 2000 player count per day and i am still having fun
