Since when server shutting down (oops sry TOTALLY meant server merge) is called according to you *evolving*?
Some good points, keep the faith brother keep the faith.
Lets take those points and make our own points.
1. Throne and Liberty might be bleeding players, but let me tell you, this game is still the king of MMORPGs!
- Not even close, 10 year old games have it beat. ESO, FFXI, WoW is still the king no matter how much you like it or hate it.
2. " The community has been vocal about the issues, and trust me, the devs listen. They're committed to making this the best experience possible.
- I cant anything good without being vulgar or say nasty things so i will just reply .... Nah.
3. And the "game is dying" talk? Please.
-- You realize the game is loosing 50% of its current base, per month. Per month dude, per month.
4.The narrative about quests being repetitive? You're not looking hard enough.
- Get coins from daily, do dungeons. -- Coins Coins coins everywhere. Its very repetitive.
5. Lastly, about the economy yeah, it's a bit wonky right now, but that's what happens in living, breathing game worlds. It'll stabilize, and when it does, those who stuck around will have a massive advantage.
-- First off, the economy has been screwed since the first two weeks, thank bots for that and the developers inability to combat those bots, welcome to FTP games. It will stabilize, but by that time, 90% of the player base will be bots.
6. So, to all the naysayers, Throne and Liberty isn't just surviving; it's evolving. Don't let the noise fool you dive in, explore, and see for yourself why this game is still worth every second of your time. The real fans know what's up, and we're here for the long haul.
-- Its not surviving nor thriving, its dying a slow painful death as the regular players leave, see comment 3, and bots take over.
Keep the faith brother, the golden days were gone 2 months ago. They will not return.
This is not the king of MMORPGs, there are many, many better games.
I was in Aion for 3 years before it was also ruined at the very beginning of the game's launch.
Here in Throne and Liberty I think that they brought an unfinished game to market too quickly because of pressure from the financiers. They thought that this could be improved over time, but this will not happen in the first place because many players uninstall the game.
After my few hours I have to say that there are a lot of bugs. Some of them are to the detriment of many new players, who of course don't stay long. It's a shame that after the holidays the servers are suddenly almost empty, not just because people are working or going to school, no, many are turning away.
Invest money in P2Win and you have all the gear, I don't need to say more. Those who make the effort to get money go to the same boss 100 times, if not more, to get the epic gear. It's no longer a game, it's like gambling in a grey area. I'm sorry, that's tragic in this day and age.
I have 65000 steam points and don't know what to do with them.... Oh NVM 65001 now...LOL!
