Obsidian shards drop chacne

Is it only me or is it literally impossible to craft the obsidian weapons?
I spent 4 hours farming the shards and got 0 drops. And the small chance to get it from solo dungeon is a joke - by the time you actually manage to craft a weapon you won't need anymore.
This isn't a game-breaking thing, this is a nice way to catch up on some mastery farming, especially for the classes that could not solo farm abyssals before (looking at spears), so why is it so difficult to obtain the weapons?

this is a dying game, as it was after the start, it died within 3 months, now everything will be faster...t3 rb drops are not available, t1 items are going, open areas drops 0.0000001 chance, obsidion is even less

I do contracts there since the first day of talandre I got 2 pieces
Until i get (I think its 100?) I wont be needing them anymore I should have 1trillion solland and all my weapons masteries maxed

I’ve done over 50-70 Adentus and still not even single one Adentus GS... And i was 4250-4300 CP (Befor Talandre patch) so dmg was enough for sure

It's you. The drop rate is 2-3 hours per shard. Expect to farm 100 shards in few months time. This isn't a one weekend grind.

the issue with this game is that you need to be disciplined about ur progress and smart about how to approach it. that's too much to ask for some doomers here

i've been on the obisidian grind for 3 days now, quite actively and got 21 pieces. this can definitely be a 1-week grind if you nolife the hell out of it, but expect it to be 3-4 weeks instead if you play at a consistent and healthy pace. just keep going

I don't know how many days and hours I spent killing dwarves and not a single obsidian, I really think the drop rates are 0.0000000000000001%, admins must want as many people as possible to go to other games... this masquerade will die soon..I was in t3 boss 30 times and got 30 epic boots, not a single epic2 item... absurd

There is no best spot. There are literally floods of posts in forums, on line and anywhere else you look that obsidian drop is basically non-existent. Pretty sure there' isn't that "magical" few getting drops all the time. Anyone that says they're pulling 100 in a week, two weeks or even a month is 100% full of crap unless they're playing 24x7 and even then it's like hoping to hit the lottery.

Only doin contract got 16, Guildmade did 5 days perma farm. They got their weapons

I've done about 50 contracts and have 1. Are there any location that seem to have better drop rates?

the rare the item more expensive it is.
think about who profits the best.everything they do is about marketing.and a middle finger to f2p users.

The drop rates of items are actually fine.. The problem is the player base. They expect all items within 1-2 weeks of release.. This is an MMO. It could take months to get everything.... If you want to spend $$, it speeds it up, but itll still take time.

The whining about drop rates is honestly laughable....
