Latest update blocked by Norton antivirus due to High Risk Threat (IDP Generic)

Norton is flagging TL.exe
Threat Name : IDP.generic
It was OK when the server first started. But it appears there was a recent update after the servers went up that introduced this (according to Norton it was introduced 2 hours ago)

remove Norton, you don't need it also it messes up your pc.
have only windows antivirus defender and add anti malwarebytes for protection and you're good

i have a IDP.Generic in tl.exe after the update ..
i'm not going to turn off my antyvirus !!
If You want to loose Your played base.. leave it as is.

Waiting for fix, if not uninstalling the game !!!!

Update: I got it to work. Had to uninstalled the game then reinstall. When I started the game, Norton 360 automatically detected a threat with the TL. exe file (that was missing at the time of my previous post) and provided a prompt to choose what to do next. I selected the option to create an exemption for the TL.exe file and Norton 360 did the rest. Closed down steam app, restarted it, launch the game and it works fine now.

since the last big update 6.3 i cant play for a week now. i cant even start the game i tried every day i reinstalled i tried to repair nothing works wtf is this shiii always maintenance and nothing works time to play something else

482h und nun mit dem gestrigen update ist es nicht mehr möglich zu spielen. ich werde definitiv meinem antivirusprogramm keine ausnahme gewähren. es ging vorher ja auch und das ohne probleme. das hat amazon ja nun schön kaputt gemacht, schade, war eigentlich ein sehr schönes game.

Es war eine Wartung und ich hatte auch Probleme mit meinem Anti-Virus. Durch die Reparatur heute geht wieder alles

Hello, some user had suggested this.

Close every Tabs you have open for google, just incase high spike in CPU and memory

Try this order:

1. Clear Steam Cache

2. Uninstall game.
(then see if you can clear steam cache again, if not its fine)

3. Restart Computer .

4. Reinstall Game.

5. Open game

6. Virus pop up notification "TL. " throne, Ignore ,do not quarantine
(if you quarantine it, you have to start from beginning again)

7. Load in game, check your window task manger on your Cpu and memory.

8. Leave game, then restart PC.

That is what i did after waiting a day. See if it works for you.

norton and MCafee both are not that good as they used to be in the past, they slows down your pc alot and kinda block alot of things that arent even a problem at all.

I use my own IPS protection based on F-Secure, never had any trouble at all with running games and such
