Weapon Mastery
Is it just me or once you hit rank 5 you barely get any more items to level it up and the ones you get from doing dungeons barely move the needle?
Adding insult to injury, you are capped at how many of these dungeons you can do to get one single 10k EXP item every day.

Is there any other way to level up weapon mastery on the side? I feel the "gating" in this game for everything related to gear and mastery progression is a bit too much.

I get it, probably they will start selling items to make this process more streamlined, then why not give a subscription option for people who do not want to be time or item gated on purpose? I cannot believe it has been almost 12 years since I started trying to play Korean MMO's and they have never, ever given a subscription model option to their games, not even now when they have an NA publisher. SMH, if the pay to win economy does not kill this game, it will be this progression gating. :steamfacepalm:

you need exponentially more as you go higher in level. Cap is 16. you can get weapon mastery from farming opening world dungeons and doing contracts. Just keep at it.

There is no pay to win way to get additional mastery. Again, the cap is 16, it's not that hard to get there.

I fixed your reply:

There is no pay to win way to get additional mastery yet. Again, the cap is 16, it's not that hard to get there.

guys, do you need exponentially more to go higher?
I am not sure cause the answers here are pretty vague and get exponentially unclear.

So basically, you need exponentially more as you go higher in level. Cap is 16. you can get weapon mastery from farming opening world dungeons and doing contracts. Just keep at it.

There is no pay to win way to get additional mastery yet. Again, the cap is 16, it's not that hard to get there.

Okay, let me see if I’m following this correctly—so as you level up, the amount you need increases exponentially, and the cap is set at 16. You can boost weapon mastery through farming open-world dungeons and contracts—got it. But what I’m really curious about is, with this cap and all these requirements, are we absolutely sure there’s no secret pay-to-win shortcut coming soon? Just seems like a setup for something, you know?

You need exponentially more as you go higher in level, so basically. The cap is 16, and you can obtain weapon mastery by farming opening world dungeons and completing contracts. Just keep at it.

Currently, there is no pay-to-win method to gain additional mastery. Again, the cap is 16, and it’s not that hard to reach it.

Interesting, but here’s a thought—if the cap is 16 and it’s supposedly ‘not that hard’ to reach, why does the amount required increase exponentially as you level up? Seems like a pretty contradictory design choice if it’s meant to be that simple. Makes me wonder—if it's so easy, why does it sound like such a grind?

In the realm where levels soar,
You need more as you explore,
With a cap set firm at sixteen,
Your journey's more than it may seem.

Farming dungeons, contracts too,
Weapon mastery waits for you,
Just keep at it, don’t despair,
The path is clear, the challenge fair.

No pay to win, just grit and grind,
With every step, more strength you'll find,
Though the cap is set, it’s not a race,
Embrace the quest, find your place.

it actually slows down at level 8-9

Contracts grind, as levels grow,
And each step up, it moves so slow,
Patience wears thin, as dungeons sprawl,
Inching forward, feels like a crawl.

Some say ‘no pay to win,’ okay,
Everyone knows there’s more to say,
Xpecting players to keep the pace,
Onward grinding, it’s a race.
No shortcut, just the same old tune,
Every time, it’s cope season soon

So what you are saying is, and let me be as concise as possible, this is about the journey, not the destination. Marvelous.

Absolutely, you’ve captured the essence perfectly! What we’re discussing really emphasizes that the journey holds intrinsic value far beyond the mere attainment of a goal. It’s about the experiences we gather, the lessons we learn, and the personal growth we undergo along the way.

Think of it as a tapestry woven with rich threads of challenges, triumphs, and moments of reflection. Each step on this path contributes to our understanding and shapes our character. It’s during the journey that we forge connections, discover our passions, and sometimes even redefine our goals.

The destination may offer a moment of satisfaction or achievement, but it’s the journey that enriches our lives, provides context to our aspirations, and ultimately makes the destination meaningful. So yes, embracing the journey not only enhances our experience but also cultivates a deeper appreciation for where we’re headed and who we become in the process. Your succinct summary highlights this beautifully!
