One boss in the tower just places fire covering the whole arena and you have to jump up into a platform that wasn't there before to avoid death, and no matter how many HP you have, that "fire" just kills you because why not.
It's not like the fire effect we can apply with weaken that does just a small percent of basic damage (read as almost waste of time using it).
These "boss" and so called "mechanics" are the ways of game to cheat "difficulty" and it's like a dance: you do what is expected to pass, or you die.
So get videos and resources, outside the game -- to teach you, because the game won't bother having training mode where one could learn all this step by step and only those passing training mode are allowed into the real dungeons.
I have been in several dungeons where everyone knew the fight they had done it before and we still wiped 4 or 5 times cause of things bugging with mechanics. I've have had the boss in Butchers Canyon drag me on the group pull as the red rings formed and it triggered and stunned me on the first ring next to him. I've also had the big hit by the Cave of Destruction boss hit me even when I was on the platform. The PvE was put in later cause this was a PvP only game at one time and so the PvE is going to be subpar.
The game just came out. People are still learning the mechanics. Give it some time for people to learn.
there are 3 or 4 bosses with similar mechanics but if there was no punishment for the player not paying attention/making mistakes then what would be the point.. I had an issue with one boss it was the eyeball floor 14 I could not seem to time my dash to get out of his insta kill zone so took me like 10-12 tries.. all the other ones were mostly 1 or 2 attempts.
The other thing is ... it is great you done dungeons in other games, but this is not other games. Stereotyping only leads to ruin and you have proved that in your topic.
