The power gap is huge.
If you meet a whale you can see how they don't take much damage and can hit harder than everyone.

Then the 10+ currencies that limit the games content.. it's kind of disgusting.

Steam is hardly the only way people log into Lost Ark. There are a lot more playing than what Steam says.

It's not on consoles so it's literally the only way to access it, unless you are from Korea

I do have like maybe 400-500 hours on KR though.

People need to realize its rock paper scissors pvp. If your build counters the other you will always win. No matter if you are trash geared or the other is fully traited and paid for all of it.

People are 3200 CP right now getting dogged by 1900-2100 CP builds just because its a counter to theirs. Even footing with builds neither will die if both are P2W and if one isnt P2W it'll just take a while to down the free player.

This is the safest P2W game I've EVER seen exist with PvP in it lol

The only problem this game has is guild monopoly. 1-2 guilds/communities controlling a server is boring.

I had a lot of fun until lvl 50. The p2w never felt bad until I realized the whale guilds at max level would lock down world bosses so only they could kill and loot them. They would set up choke points and kill any who tried to get to the portals before time expired and if it was a “peaceful” boss they would eclipse so they could still do the same. Ultimately the p2w is only an issue in pvp but when the best gear is tied to pvp the game is fooked

go onto Median XL season 38? (Nov1)...Space Marine 2 New Content?...PoE 2?...yeah just some stuff off the top of my head for the rest of 2024, 2025? Monster Hunter Wilds for March...
Meanwhile this game will keep bleeding players, Servers will Merge to avoid bigger profit losses, Game will bleed even more due to whale condensation from merger's, more people will leave, game will be left with mostly whales and like Qui Gon said, ''Theres always a bigger fish'' and so small whales will leave, game will die and NCsoft will move on to their next cash grab.
