Paying to play early is a psychological trick. Who cares if you play on the same server. Its not about playing side by side with f2p. You know you play before f2p and therefore most will not care that the servers are separated.
Beside that. If the servers were not separated. In the early access time you would not see any f2p either. So discussing this topic is just waste of time and brain cells to me. It is just the same as if the servers were merged, only after the early access is over you will MAYBE notice that new players will be absent. And when you already progressed in the game. You will not even notice them. So what is the point? Absolute useless.
What's the point in paying for a pack of a free game to find it cut off from global servers?
the Excuse of limiting the impact of those who pay and of starting 5 days before does not hold...
They have already paid... so that's already absolute legitimacy in itself.
Or in this case, it was not necessary to include a launch day in advance in the packs.
But what idea did Amazon have?
Finally, locking people out because of this "advantage" for just 5 days is just stupid:
Because for example:
If I bought a pack that allows me to launch the game on the 26th, but I play less long or less intensely than a free to play player from October 1st, it is me who will have a disadvantage.
And yet I'm not going to complain under the pretext of being less present or investing less than someone else.
But despite everything, it's me who will be blocked on Early servers.
In short, this has no effect because it is designed for people who rush the game in less than 5 days... And in fact an overall value judgment without taking into account the freedom to play at the pace you want.
Once again, if this Early Access thing was a problem of balance, then why not simply remove the 5 days in advance to put everyone on an equal footing to start on October 1st. Paid pack, like those who just want to play F2P.
Who are the people responsible for this nonsense at Amazon?
dude may have realized this by now
or not
because too angry
We will offer limited-time free transfers to all players from September 26 through October 17.
Early Access Servers will eventually have their transfer restriction lifted.
Early Access and Launch Server Transfer Details
At the full launch on October 1 we will TEMPORARILY restrict characters from transferring off of Early Access Servers to Launch Servers. Players on Full Launch Servers can transfer (subject to space availability) to either Early Access or other Full Launch Servers without restrictions. We plan to remove the ‘early access’ tags and let players apply to transfer from Early Access to Full Launch Servers when the time is right. Our team will work to determine the optimal time based on player feedback and data.
My guess is the timing will be between 9/26 - 10/17, is when they will lift the restriction of transferring from EA server to Launch servers...come on folks...READ!
