how can i refund?

bought the ultimate pack when i see amazon on publisher, and bought it, and watched some youtubers that played in korea, saw its heaviliy monetized p2w, now want to refund it. cannot i refund game that i purchased early access?

Through Steam support. (like how you would refund any other game.)

I refunded the Lost Ark pre-purchase packs before it released, so I don't see how this would be any different.

unfortunately it says " This purchase contains consumable content that cannot be refunded. "

Ah... I just checked myself and it says the same thing. I guess they don't refund if you bought it over 2 weeks ago. (I must have refunded the Lost Ark pack within the timeframe)

Try reaching out to Steam support via the 'ask a question' tab instead of the refund one.

For what it's worth, the monetization for the global release is different from Korea.

Attempt the refund and just remember to always be vigilant for any Free To Play games. Even non-FTP online games can have such Pay to win elements. Treat this as a learning experience my dude, best of luck.

heavily is a pretty bold word to use. its not as bad as some other games cuz u can at least earn the paid currency in game through playing and there are caveats to how the p2w actually is, its not straight up buy currency and then power yourself to the best ♥♥♥♥ instantly. The only possible way to do that is by spending thousands and ur only gonna have a couple whales who are willing to do that but its really not worth it. there's lots of f2p players that have surpassed whales in Korea so do with this info what u will but the last thing to note is that if ur only focused on the monetisation in Korea that's part of ur issue, the game will be different in the west

western version Non (kr) is less p2w. In fact during the beta i saw no p2w. I saw plenty of pay for customization but nothing that gave you an advantage over other players. You couldn't buy level ups or items that gave you an advantage over a non paying player.

ITs so funny to read, how people call this game "heavily p2w" in 2024... There are way more games out there, where you cant even progress properly, without paying tons of $$$.
Here you can literally play and skip any payments, if you dont want. It will just take some time longer(reasonable time) to achieve your goals...
And yes, its the reality nowdays in MMO segment. Developers also want to eat and have some money for fun...
