This game is already done, and is not good. I picked their half baked "healer" option (something + Wand) because I like helping others, but was a wrong choice. In this game can see a player with low health in PvE, and you a healer, and can't heal it, must be in a party to make it work. In GW2, ESO, FFXIV, Aion, BDO and many others, can heal randoms, unless you are fighting them.
Also having a Wand hurts your damage output, you have far less skills to do damage with them, so you end up doing damage 10 seconds or so and then wait on cooldowns for 10 seconds (some/most skills are 30 sec or longer cooldown), while surrounded by angry mobs (even more so if you are single target class). But you can just turn into a furry and run away of course, so cool.
It is what it is, and nobody learns anything from it. Next big and shiny MMO will have same stupid mistakes all over.
He was referrering to weapons, do you guys not read before posting your answer ?
1) Different specs. Again, my comment stands.
2) A way to minimize the grind. I will answer this with a question: if you were an MMO developer house and wanted players to spend "forever" in your game, would you A) not have grindy content, or B) have grindy content? Your answer will tell the community if you think like a business person (and make a profit in your business) or not..., that is, if you are brave enough to answer.
[Hint: this is an Asian MMO]
What kind of asian tho ? There's a type that no one likes for good reasons, so i wonder if that was the "C" one. Then what kind of MMO ? A game or a product ? I cannot provide a proper answer without knowing that.
Yeah 2 minutes was clearly a lot of time invested, i should have P2W the answer instead. What a weird person
I would roll wand/bow if I was healing. In my example and the ideal way to rollout this feature, each spec would be entirely different from the last. In other words my first spec would have my SNS+GS and all its builds saved on the 1,2,3 slots. The second would be Healer with whatever builds.
I think the main thing you are missing are all the used growthstones. No, I am not going to use the finite, skill conversion scrolls. Those are meant for a direct change from one archetype to another one time not continuously as I want.
