Amazon has nothing to do with the development of this game. Its published by Amazon, Ncsoft developed this game.

They have road map that looks interesting and promising for me, they seem to have intention to bring out both PVE and PVP content in very good schedule. :)

The milestones keep opening up and we get more to do all the time. I feel the game has already now more things to do and play than what New World had on it's launch or even years after lol

So game has actual potential if they keep putting out content fast enough, at start any new mmo game has to always keep competing against the old MMO games that have decade or more worth of content already out. So being quick enough to put out content is very much essential. And as said, their interviews and vision of the future of the game seems interesting and promising to me. Then again, anything can happen and any game company can bring out bad updates/changes that people do not like, so it's all open.. only they can ruin things.

But so far from what have seen, from original KR launch, they have been improving them game a lot exactly based on western gamers wishes and feedback has been actually listened to. No game is 100% ever to anyone, since personal preferences, but TnL will probably find it's fans and active player base if it does pump out nice and fun content during it's first year and two. It has legit actually solid foundation to build on. New activities, new weapons, new content cadence, "new things" that can borrow idea from other games, new (fun) systems.. if they can deliver those during first big updates, this game will have actual chance to be a success in the long run i'd say. And i am very cynical mmo gamer.. so if i think so, it's actual possibility.

It's just a really fun game with good potential, and so far they been improving the game for most part since original launch. If they keep that up and bring big content at same time = success. Me and friends who play it are all having fun so far. :UDG_Heart:

We shall see what their pacing will be with that type content additions.. i see most people are still in mixed green/blue and couple purples. You know, the normal/casual gamers with casual hours. There is no point making the content out for the 1% who needs and wants everything in 1st week.. those people will do everything in 2 weeks anyways pumping 18 hours per day to get current BiS and then complain got nothing to do. No amount of content is ever enough. :D

I have gear score/power whatever at 2378 right now with casual (kinda) playing, smooth progress feeling. Majority if people are like that i'd think that not yet are in full Epics and definitely not everything maxed and Traited yet. It's better for the game and content if more people "catch up" before giving content.. or you see even more people complain "no healers!" and "No tanks!" with the complaint that people are in queue for 1 hour. Yes, i am in guild and have friends so do not need that. But many "normal casual gamers" play solo or even if in guild they just are so used to queues from other games so they queue and that leaves certain feeling and impression if it's not fast enough.

So it's just smart to give some time for people to catch up, even those who do not have time like us lazy students (who are gaming when should be studying lol) or unemployed power gamers lol. The working dads are playing the game also etc.. so based on common sense, equalizing the median of players to catch up a bit to the fast big pump grinders is just smart for the longevity of the game. Or you get soon "dead content barrier to entry" type of situation, where new players sort of get soft-stuck on progress when others are so far already in content & gear that no one except other new people do the old content = painful to progress or re-roll character to new classes means people will quit more often when realizes that situation, leads to gatekeeping etc unless you grind all new content always in week 1 it comes out.

What leads to "week 1 FOMO" or you are out.. and further out if misses several weeks or months, then you have to beg people to progress helping you gear up (they have to grind old content for you that they already did for themselves, not many are thrilled) unless they create catch up mechanics for gear progression, what leads to then from the 1% "I worked my butt off for that same gear, now they handing over the same with like 1 daily to noobs i hate youuu i will uninstall and go back to playing dead ESO!".

Anyone who has experience in MMO games knows this, and also knows the "casual andies" are the biggest group of gamers and they need to think the content pacing from that in the middle or all they have soon left is the 1% and as we know what happens then.. the game dies. So any smart Devs actually want to have those "casual andies" in the game with content pacing that makes it possible. You know, the people who queue to dungeons after a days work, after they bought all cosmetics from the store, so they put money in the game so we get new content. Me and many others just farm stuff with guildies for free Lucents.. but most are just normal casual players and we need them, not to scare them away with nightmare gear progression if the pacing is too fast for the average-andy.

tldr: I love milk. I wear cat ears while licking it from the bowl. :CatStarla:
