Notice how your eyes focus on the foreground when you look at your skill cooldowns and then realise how often you refocus like that during combat. It's terrible design carried over from typical MMO's and you could fix it in wow with weak auras so I'm not going back to flitting my eyes around the screen like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tweaker.
Additionally, a metric to enhance our gameplay would be beneficial. For instance, I am uncertain how to optimize my rotation, nor do I know how to improve my gameplay. The absence of this information is a significant hindrance for those who do not have the time to invest in extensive trial and error.
Furthermore, I find myself constantly looking down to monitor my cooldowns, which is an aspect I wish to improve. Perhaps modding could offer a solution.
Don't tell lies.
how about don't fail to comprehend what I even said - being able to move the bars around the screen and resize things is nowhere near enough customisation and it still does not address the refocus issue worsened by their whack-a-mole mmo playstyle. At least wow addressed whack-a-mole with spell proc style spell rotation system so you would only have to pay attention to a few main CD's that were 2 or 3 mins apart. Next time you play just pay attention to how much your eyes are flicking to the skill bar and back to the center of the screen and also refocusing and maybe you will begin to comprehend.
can you understand why someone might make a comparison between two games? and no I don't know what you are trying to imply - are you saying that they are actively punishing players for UI modifications?
