Like if I have an 3 trait blue item and transfer the levels to a 1 trait purple,
will those 3 traits be gone?
The "normal" budget approach is heavily trait Blues to MAX then transfer it to Purple that way you get a lot of blessings to use.
The only way to ADD traits to an item players needs a similar item with the trait they want.
Can I trasnfer item without full traits? Like lets say I have 5 traits at the moment on blue gear and I transfer to purple, do I get 500 blessings?
blessings you get when you try to upgrade a trait but it fails, then you get blessings %.
and you can always only use 1 trait from the same item to put it into another same item.
example: you have 1 helmet named "a" with 1 trait
now you find another helmet named "a" with either the same trait or another trait.
then you can level up the existing trait or add the other trait to the first helmet.
this only works if it is the exact same helmet.

Yes, but it only counts the number of traits. Personally I think it is remarkably "cheaper" to transfer with full traits given how easy it is to get Blue gear (Open World Dungeons etc).
I'm afraid that's not right. Read the tooltip, it tells you SUCCESS counts to transferred blessings. You can also check the shared screenshot.
