People are buying raid boss weapons for hundreds of dollars/euros..
And you can buy mats to craft upgrade materials
The loot drops for bosses for even BLUE gear is pretty ridiculous when you consider what all you gotta do to get them to drop. Unless you are in a Guild, World Bosses aren't much better, especially those that are in conflict. I was having fun exploring the zones, playing with the story, and leveling, but now that I've hit end game I find the game has reared its ugly head.
It's still a fun end to end experience but that end game is especially ugly.
Old me would have bought in.
I am older and wiser.
System is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and they're ♥♥♥♥♥♥ for making it only with real world currency. Complete BS.
Trying to enjoy as well, but that's very hard when you're in que for hours for each dungeon you wanna join, have a limit or contracts and done all your quests.
Most world events are super boring and so is farming crypt.
And world bosses is a few min each couple hours
Oh and another issue is people queing with the wrong roles in dungeons, or not knowing mechs then leaving the group so you have to que again.. really fun experience.
Guess you not max lvl yet then?
In fact rushing to max lvl is preferable in most of those games, then items are still worth more money so you can easily stack on some gold to use later/use to buy cash shop gems..
You're just wrong if you think rushing max lvl in an mmorpg is a bad thing.
It only is when there's no/bad end game content.
It means you can literally just buy gear/upgrades with real money
And most people now just don't know about them, soon they wont be worth much at all.. yet the p2w people can still swipe just as easily, while you have to work your off.
A game with ranked pvp should never have this.
Also the fact you can ONLY buy these things on auction house with cash store gems should tell you all you need to know.. it's not designed for people farming the game, it's designed for people buying gems.
They pretend to remove item trading for gold to prevent real money trading, then add real money trading to them personally as only option.
It's all clearly about trying to milk as much money as possible..
It's not to help us, the players.. it's to help themselves.
