We've been live 5 days now- someone give me a real $$$- how much does it cost to become competitive???

So, once a new player hits 50 and start getting into the grind no one likes about these Asian games, say I wanted to skip it and buy everything needed on AH to do end game content with the other whales. How much would I be looking to spend? I know some games as little as $50 will get you fully geared while others it can be $1,000s.

Anyone have a solid number as of today?

400$ for a single piece.
1k$+ for a weapon.

So about $5,000 to gear up a single build to become competitive versus grinding which I assume would be 2000 plus hours in-game based upon the time gates- so regardless of time played. Kind of like a little more than $2 hourly if you consider your wasted time is money. However, also two pimped out computers or a good used jet ski just to bypass grind in a mid game which will likely never stay top 5.

Thanks for the info. The flip side is once doing end game content, I could then sell on the AH and make money back over time.

Also tanks and healers cannot drop equipement because their DPS is too low for world boss (contribution is dps based). They must be carried by a guild to have a low chance to get their best items. Or you can just P2W.
