Gaming laptop performance issues.

Hi. I have a low end gaming laptop.
CPU: 15-11300H
RAM: 16GB
GPU: GTX 1650 4GB
SSD: Yes 4k transfer.

I can barely play the game at minimum settings even tho there are no many people on the screen. I can play other MMO games without issues (wow, gw2, bdo) but not this one.
Do you guys think the problem is on my end? Is this game just extremely demanding?

The 50-series GTX cards are weak and 4GB is also pretty low. I would not go into an Unreal Engine game super optimistic with that card in particular. I have friends playing on GTX 1080 8GB and it's running okay for them.

this graphic card was even bad 3 years ago , yea your laptop is outdated ,wow is almost ancient game , gw2 is from 2012 and BDO is from 2015 ,maybe they will improve the performance over time , game is fresh released

I have a 3060ti and i had to upgrade my RAM to 32GB to have no lags in busy areas.
I know upgrading a laptop cost a bit more and i'm not sure the graphics card will be good enough.

I'm on an acer nitro and I run fine on low settings mostly. It's the world bosses/pvp that I have the most lag in or when the town becomes increased with players during a world boss event. Otherwise I can run fine normal play wise story, dungeons, ect. For my its just the increase in population

It's not a laptwop Issue, Mine has a RTX4070, 32 GB RAM, an SSD and an i7 13700HX. Works at 3440*1440 very smooth and constant capped 60 fps.

The game is demanding. It has a DLSS feature that it says only works with 40XX cards. Unreal 4 is way beyond WoW or GW2 or BDO as all of those games are a decade old or more. Newer games use new graphics technology and so require newer cards even if the graphics aren't pretty.

I've seen top down games like Diablo 4 that are just as demanding even though you barely see anything on screen that isn't a moving GIF. Heck, Rogue Trader is just as demanding and it's a top down turn-based game where nothing moves most of the time.

Also, minimum settings means MINIMUM settings. Turn your screen resolution down to 1280x720.
