All Previously Worn Equippable Items Stuck with Equipped Status - Unable to Sell, Dissolve, or Transfer Levels

Summary of the Issue:

Since the client patch on October 4, 2024, I have faced a significant issue where all previously worn equippable items (weapons, armor, accessories) are stuck in the equipped status. This prevents me from managing my inventory effectively, as I can neither transfer gear, dissolve items, nor sell them at the Sundries Merchant. This has severely hindered my gameplay progression.

Equippable Items Stuck: Post-patch, all worn items remain permanently equipped. Attempting to unequip any item (weapon, armor, accessory) changes the Gold/White E icon to a Black E.

UI Issues: Using the "Unequip All Items" button results in all previously worn items disappearing from my inventory when I click "Hide Equipped Items," leaving me unable to access them.

Impact on Game-play Progression:

This issue has led to several critical limitations:
- Enchanting Limitations: I cannot transfer maxed out gear from Uncommon (green) to Rare (blue) via the Equipment Enchanting window, stalling my character development.

- Dissolving Restrictions: I am unable to dissolve worn common or uncommon items, complicating inventory management and hindering my ability to acquire new gear.

- Selling Inaccessibility: Items are grayed out in the Sundries Merchant - Sell window, preventing me from selling unequipped items and earning in-game currency.

Support Attempts:

I have made multiple attempts to seek support regarding this issue:

  1. Tried opening a support ticket but couldn’t attach screenshots or video evidence within the original web form.
     
  2. Attempted to upload the video to YouTube, only to be told that support does not have access to web links.
     
  3. Lastly, after compressing the requested video to 49 MB, my email was blocked due to attachment restrictions from the amazon email service.
     
  4. This ticket is stuck in limbo because I cannot send the support person/team the evidence they need.
  
  
• Throne and Liberty Official Discord Server:
  Attempted to report this issue on the Discord server's "bug-reports" channel, but after agreeing to the Forum Guidelines, I was unable to create a post despite being told I had access.
  
  
• Given these obstacles, I am now posting on the Steam Discussion forum as my last hope for support and resolution.

Conclusion:

This issue stemming from the recent patch has severely impacted my game-play in Throne and Liberty. I urge the development team to investigate this matter promptly, as it affects not only my experience but potentially other players as well. Thank you for your attention to this critical issue.

Also posted this issue on Reddit. Thanks to other players, the root cause of my/this issue was because I had more than one Item Set Load-out configured. If there is a Dark/Black E on an item, that means it is equipped in another Item Set profile/load-out.

So how do you remove it from those load outs? I’m dealing with this same issue

Could it be that you need to delete your loadout? Just tossing some ideas out there.

That's exactly what it is i had the same issue. If you have multiple load outs with that weapon you have to unequipped all load outs of that weapon.

for anyone who is still stuck, go into your character screen and check that your item is not equipped in your "eqquipment and stat sets". This worked for me

since i just dealt with this i'll leave another comment to clarify that it is simply because the item is equipped to another one of your sets. 1,2, or 3.
