how f2p is this game?

im low spender with 2-3 hours to play everyday if lucky. hows the f2p experiences? any f2p tips when starting out

This game is relatively f2p in regards to gear/skill books/dungeons/open dungeons. The main storyline/side quest gives you plenty of materials to upgrade your skills/gear. It requires a long grind to get purples, but it is worth it in the long run. Guild are much needed for raids, as you can attain guaranteed purples. The f2p experience is pretty nice when you are well informed about what you are doing. Maxroll is a good guide to direct your gear builds.

To Start out early game level 50:
You can do contracts for "contract coins", which can be used to buy a chest with purple gear. Doesn't take very long to get, and the contracts are very easy to complete. About 10 minutes every 5 contracts.

You can run 3 dungeons per day and each smooth completetion can take about 10-15minutes. Assuming you can clear it 1 shot. So I would take a look at mechanics and find a guild to coordinate your dungeons.

When you finish dungeons you get Abyssal contract tokens which can be used in open world dungeons, where you can farm for materials/gear.

Depends how much you care about being competitive, especially in PvP. If you don't care, give the game a try. If being 'left behind' bothers you, then look elsewhere.

You are pretty time gated from my understanding. You can only do 3 dungeons a day.
There are a lot of p2w skills and power on the cash shop.
If you are specifically pve, then I would probably look elsewhere, as this game seems to lean closer to pvp than other mmos.

its a mobile game. you have "energy" to farm each day which builds up to a cap. if you dgaf about progress, play it, its free. issue is, there are far superior buy to play games out there of the same genre. ESO and GW2 for example..... even on the free 2 play spectrum, albion online destroys this game. bigly

I'm completely f2p, I've played a lot in KR so I understand the game. I was able to sell tons of loot from dungeons and open world dungeons and have managed to accumulate 2.5k lucent.

If you do research and learn how the game works you literally could be a top tier player without spending a single penny. It is pay for convenience, since you can obtain everything without having to open your wallet.
