Switching weapons

So, I started with Bow/Daggers. But, I don't enjoy the Daggers. Is it possible to somehow switch to Wand and maybe transfer the mastery xp? Or do I just buy a wand and start leveling it from scratch? Currently at level 25.

From what I can tell, until you're at the point of working on end game gear you can swap pretty freely and only be set back at most a day or two of mastery grinding. How much mastery do you have at 25? I'm also 25 and have been using the same weapons since level 1 but only have 1 mastery level so there's not much to lose :D

Level 2 for both weapons :)
Thanks for the tip, I'll just get a wand then.
But, since you mentioned mastery grinding - how do you grind it? Just the tear thingies from dungeons?

I'm concerned about the books used for leveling up skills, what If I want to change to another weapon, will I need to just use those skills at low level?

Skill swap scrolls, story gives you like 30 of them and the rest are in ornate coins and battle pass store

Simplest way overall is participating in events, like wolf hunting, the goblin slaying etc. occasionally contracts have them, and very rarely a quest can reward mastery points, but it’s a teardrop shaped item that goes in your inventory and it expires if you don’t use it, so just use them immediately when you get them… ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK YOU USED THESE BEFORE LOGGING OFF. And send your amibo dudes on an explorartion
