You bring up something I've been thinking about forever. Why do people skip NPC talk, unless they don't like the game right?
I never scroll through on my games, unless I've heard it plenty of times, very strange how so many like to scroll through on Quest talk/Story talk, do they hate the game or no? And if they don't hate the game, why scroll through? Do gamers have short attention spans? lol
Not complaining just saying I have done nearly 200 Contracts and have only seen a single gear bag and never once a Lithograph. So they must be more rare for some then others cause I have a friend that gets gear bags all the time.
I did not listen to a single line of MSQ dialog or watch a single cut scene I still know how to do the things and I enjoy playing. Story isn't for everyone and thats ok. Edit: I don't care about the story I just want to be a murder hobo mindlessly killing things. I played FF14 up till just after the xpac before this newest one and could not tell you anything about the story, like nothing at all.
This game was originally made for PvP only. They only started adding the PvE stuff later to save the game. So the farming and gear is still all set up to be a hardcore grind and card swipe.
