The world of cooking quest is not good

This is the first quest I get to try my hand on cooking, but you'd think since it's the first quest of its sort introduced to new players you'd think it would be simple stuff. But no.
First dish requires level 3 cook to make, second dish requires level 7 cook and the last one requires level 8 cook. Why? Why not just make the player cook simple level 0-1 dishes?
And 4/6 of the beginner dishes you can make require salt as ingredient but it's so tedious to acquire it by farming the same mobs. Or you could also just get it by spending battle pass currency which I find stupid.

Salt is pretty easy to get by doing Amitoi expeditions. I usually get 1-4 by doing them. For that quest, you also only need to make one of the 3 dishes even though the quest makes it seem like you have to do all 3.
